Lisa Shaffer received her Masters Of Science in Nursing in 2009 from Allen College. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She became an Oncology Certified Nurse in 2002 and has worked as an oncology nurse since 1997.
Our Advance Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) and Doctorate Nurse Practitioner (DNP) that work at Oncology Associates have a graduate degrees in nursing and have become specialists in working with Oncology/hematology patients. They work in collaboration with the physicians and nurses to provide the patient optimal care. The nurse practitioners offer services of prevention, education, diagnosis, and treatment while receiving your cancer care. Also, they provide follow up care after treatments have finished. You can expect they will provide the same compassion and quality of care that you experience with your physician.
